“Great Things on the Horizon for the Village of Angola”

The Village of Angola is proud to have been awarded $299,500 for the relocation and preservation of 1882 Nickel Plate Depot. With contributions coming from the Evans Township Lions Club, The Angola Parks and Gazebo Committee and private donations the Village was able to secure the Land at 161 South Main Street (across from the South Main Street Angola Fire Hall) for the placement and renovation of this piece of Railroad History.   The Village also has been awarded a $50,000 Grant SAM Grant from Senator Chris Jacobs, and an additional $15,000 from the Office of Parks & Recreation & Historic Preservation
